Since we arrived in the Ottawa area over 20 years ago, our dream has been to find the perfect
piece of property for our dream home and our horses. We searched on our own for years with
no success.
We first contacted Barb Eamer two years ago to help us with our search. She was a dedicated
agent, working diligently to understand just what we were looking for. She spent a lot of time
identifying and then showing us many different properties, often even interrupting her own plans
to make sure we saw properties as soon as they came on the market.
At the same time, Barb prepared a thorough assessment of the value of our existing home, and
developed a marketing plan for us. She was very understanding, patient and accommodating
when the house was not listed because we had not yet found the ideal piece of property to buy.
When we did find the property and buy it, Barb responded very quickly to our request for a new
value assessment and marketing plan for our home. The marketing plan was very thorough
and her advice on preparing our home to list was welcome and effective.
When the sign went up on our driveway, everything was in place - from the beautiful custom
website, to the MLS listing and ads for local real estate listing and papers. The weekend after
the house was listed, Barb held a very well attended public open house.
The result of all of this: We received two very good offers within a
week of listing.
Barb's efforts on our behalf didn't end with the acceptance of the
offer. She helped to facilitate the inspections and other conditions
for the sale, ensuring that everything went smoothly and with the
least amount of disruption in our lives. Our house was sold less
than two weeks after it was listed.

Barb and Laura proved to be dedicated and professional in the sale of my home. They listened and respected my wishes regarding showings and no open houses and were always available to go over our progress and modify our approach if necessary.
